Prima (Microgaming) is currently the third largest network online. They are a network of poker rooms that have the players from all of their sites playing together in one large virtual room. This assures that there are many games and limits to choose from 24 hours a day.

The games offered are:

• 7 Card Stud and 5 Card Stud each in Limit
• Pot-Limit and No-Limit

The limits available range from .05/.10 up to 100/200. They also offer a free download of their software and a play money account that allows you to familiarize yourself with the software.

Ongame software is available in both a free download and in a no download version. Established in 1999, Ongame is one of the older Internet based poker networks.

• Holdem is offered in limit with blinds from .25/.50 to 100/200, pot-limit with blinds from .25/.25 to 50/50 and in no-limit with blinds from .25/.25 to 100/100.
• Omaha high and Omaha/8 are available in limit with blinds from .25/.50 to 25/50, pot-limit from .50/.50 to 2/2 and no-limit from .50/.50 to 2/2.
• 7 Card Stud and 7 Card Stud/8 are offered in limit with blinds from 1/2 to 25/50.

With a large player base, there are always tables available in all of the games and at most limits. One of the nice things about Playtech is the amount of tournaments that run every day. They have small tournaments with buy-ins in the $2 to $10 range running at all times and these are excellent practice, especially if you are a new player learning Holdem

Paradise Poker has been online since 1999 and they are currently listed as the fourth largest room online with around 8,000 players at peak hours. There are always numerous Holdem games at all levels in both limit and no-limit and Omaha/8 in limit and pot-limit.

Paradise Poker offers:
• Limit Holdem is spread from .02/.04 up to 40/80 and no-limit from a $2 buy-in up to $500.
